Isn't it OK to break the law in a limited and specific way?

I am sure you will be studying the details of the new rules but the following two poits have struck me
1. Churches have been allowed to keep going because social distancing, hand washing and face mask wearing are all enforced household groups are allowed to sit together but distanced appropriately from any other group 2. Team sports are allowed to continue without spectators individuals will maintain distances as far as possible all activities around the sport will involve masks, frequent hand washing, distancing and avoiding touching anything that others might touch not exactly the same but some parallels central national bodies have been helpful - The Church of England in the first case and the Squash Rackets Association in the second good luck in your deliberations

Hi All, Very pleased to say that the latest government guidelines have no effect on our plans for Gravesend and the event will go ahead as scheduled (with social distancing etc in place of course). Entries for everyone (members and non-members) will be re-open shortly. Please note that there is a venue-imposed limit of 60 entries and it's strictly first come, first served. Entries will close next Thursday. |

Psssstt. If you are asked what you are doing on the track at Gravesend - you are testing your eyesight in a socially distanced way to make sure it is safe to drive home ;)

For those of you that have registered for BHPC racing at Gravesend CyloPark this Sat and/or Sun, please check your email inboxes as you have just been sent a race info sheet with relevant info about race formats, times, venue layout etc that you need to read before the day. |

Results for today's racing are now uploaded at: http://www.bhpc.org.uk/Data/Sites/1/media/events/events20/04gravesend/index.html And the championship points are at: http://www.bhpc.org.uk/Data/Sites/1/media/events/events20/04gravesend/gravesend_2.html The 2020 season points table has been updated accordingly. Again, let me know if you spot anything dodgy. I'd particularly like it if anyone could confirm who the handcyclist was that stopped to fettle a brake problem in the 90 minute slow race. Philip Carter (179) has a 12:36 lap that looks likely... *THUNK* zZzZ
