I believe Karl and Katie have offered to organise but they will need some assistance as they haven't done it before.

Gulp! err yeh suppose we have by default we've got the timing equipment.... errr

Any suggestions on face format? what works well? 20min (40% points), 40min (60% points) fast and slow?

Sounds good to me - Race organiser gets to pick the format though... Big smile

The Lancaster circuit does work ok in both directions I think if you want to mix it up a bit...

20min clockwise
40min anticlockwise

Who will drive the laptop as I have no idea? Good at shouting and waving hands about though :-)
Delegation the art of good management I believe.

I'll be happy to help with sign-on if we make it up there - Still waiting to see if Dave can get the Friday off work so that we can avoid driving up early on the Saturday morning or late Friday night. Plenty of other people who should be able to help otherwise - Definitely need help if you're planning to race as well as organise.
It's fairly straight-forward because Kevin's spreadsheet is excellent.

I don't think we usually have mains power at Lancaster so you'll need to use the club laptop with power from a car/van (I don't have a car adapter for mine).

Jon and Anne (Coulson) have said  they will assist with sign-on and organising. I have the laptop and will bring it along ready set up for Lancaster.

We can pitch in as well, although Fiona is planning on going for a walk during the Preston event apparently, so can't help then.

I'm hoping to come along this weekend after a fairly long absence since my impersonation of a catapult at Curborough (hopefully won't be doing that again!)

Does Ye Olde Keeper of Thee Race Numbers know if 88 is still free this year or can ye suggest another?

Martin -

According to Thee Records which I Keep your last known address was no 83 (Curborough 2013) and is still yours if you want it. 88 has been Ian Fardoe's number for quite some time.
