First rule of BHPC racing - prepare your excuses before the race commences (it requires some effort but not as much as tr@|ning).
Right Time - Right Place - Wrong Speed

An exersie bike chest injury thats different Ian, at least my excuse as to why I can't make it is because i'm out till the wee small hours in Blackpool and have her indoors in tow too so pretty sad realy Cry as I like Scunny and was looking forward to seeing how fast I could go without falling off, knowing my luck possibly at the start line on a banked track, have a good one anyway.

My excuse is pretty involved; heart surgery, a Pedersen stem and a 20mph fat bike (29plus tyres actually) sideplant were complicit.
I'll be there.

Thanks to the organisers for a great days racing. Very much enjoyed, especially the flying lap which was the perfect race distance for me... :)

Some photos here, which don't convey any sense of the speed that the fast race went at:

And a short video of the fast race here: https://youtu.be/BZqtaVuJFKU

I'd like to add my appreciative thank you to Heather (and a bit for Andrew and Barney Wink ) for making the day run so smoothly and for making Andrew do the flying lap again (did Andrew and Heather have a bit of pre-race tiff perhaps????)

Looking back i enjoyed both kinds of race, although the 1 hr didn't make feel sick which was nice.
